Westcoast Calisthenics Club began in 1968, operating under the name of 'South Geelong'.  This tradition continued until 1986 when the name was changed to 'Adele'. In 1990 'Westcoast' was born and has continued to evolve to the successful club it is today.

In 2015 Westcoast was the first calisthenics club in Geelong to achieve Calisthenics Victoria's 2 Star Club Program, demonstrating a focus and commitment to the development of five key areas within our club.

Westcoast offers competitive classes for all ages, from Tinies to Masters and recreational classes during Term 4 each year.  These classes are held at the Armstrong Creek East Community Hub (and at Geelong Ballroom for Masters only).

All sections of Westcoast compete in a number of competitions, including the State Titles, Royal South Street Ballarat Eisteddfod (excluding Masters) and the local Coastside competition (when available).  Westcoast also contributes to the running of this Coastside competition to enable our members to perform locally where possible. Our Masters are competing at the Pan Pacs games in Queensland later this year.

All our coaches are fully accredited with Level One with the Victorian Calisthenics Coaches Association (VCCA), have a Working With Children Check and a current first aid certificate.

Westcoast is managed by a committee of volunteers, elected annually at the Annual General Meeting.
